Víctor Eloy López Cerezo from Malaga will be the next director of the Municipal Music Band of the capital of Almería, in the event that no resources are presented. He is the candidate chosen by the Almería City Council after the assessment of merits carried out within the framework of the call for provisional coverage of this position.

Once the Assessment Commission has met, among the candidates studied – six, of which three have been rejected for not meeting the required requirements – the best score goes to this exponent of the new generation of Spanish directors.

According to the information provided by the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Víctor Eloy López is a professor at the Málaga Conservatory of Music, with a degree in Music History and Sciences, a degree in Music, a diploma in Musical Teaching and a Master in Interpretation of Musical Heritage.

As an opera and zarzuela director he has directed more than 300 performances.
