Professor of Music and Performing Arts, Víctor Eloy López is one of the directors with the greatest international projection of the new Spanish generation.
Principal conductor of the Spanish Philharmonic Orchestra and the Andalusian Symphony Orchestra, he has conducted ensembles such as Vienna Chamber Orchestra (Austria), Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, Filharmonia Szczecin Orchestra (Poland), Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Malaga Symphony Orchestra, Classical of Granada, National Band of Cuba and Municipal Band of Palma de Mallorca, among other professional groups.
Having a fixed season at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid since 2024, he has also conducted at the Vienna Konzerthaus (Austria), Victoria Hall (Geneva, Switzerland), Stravinski Auditorium (Montreux, Switzerland), Malmö Concert Hall (Sweden), Gran Teatro del Liceo (Barcelona), Wizink Center, Bilbao Arena, etc.
Trained in orchestral conducting with teachers Miguel Romea and José María Moreno, he has been assistant teacher of Karel Mark Chichon, Rune Bergmann, Arturo Diez Boscovich, Alberto Veronesi, and José María Moreno.
Likewise, he has assisted Elina Garantça in recording for Deutsche Grammophon with the OFGC.
His knowledge of the zarzuela repertoire has become the basis of his development as an orchestra director, directing more than 300 performances of a multitude of titles as important as “Luisa Fernanda”, “Marina”, “Barberillo de Lavapies” or “La Corte”. del Faraón”, produced mostly by the Teatro Lírico Andaluz company, of which he has been the main director for 8 years.
As chief conductor of the Málaga Brass Band, he holds 4th place in the European Brass Bands Championship held in Montreaux (Switzerland) in 2019.
In his different facets as an artist he has worked alongside soloists such as Paco de Lucía, Placido Domingo, Elina Garantça, Ainhoa Arteta, Estrella Morente, Tomatito, Rolando Saad, Raphael, Adam Rapa, Michel Becquet, Rubén Simeó, David Bisbal, Pablo Aborán, Vanesa Martin and Pablo López, among many others.
He is currently musical director of Isabel Pantoja’s 50th Anniversary Tour.
In addition, he has a degree in Music History and Sciences, a diploma in Musical Teaching, a Master in Spanish Musical Heritage and a Master in Cultural Management; which complements his versatility, addressing very different repertoires.
